WHAT
IS AN ANGEL? An angel is a supernatural being that is not of this world but rather is of the spiritual
world and works as a medium between God and humans. The word angel comes from the Greek angelos and the Latin angelas,
which both mean "messenger", although that isn’t their only duty. Angels maintain the position
to minister over all existing things and the common world, and everything in the cosmos. The Bible introduces angels
as messengers of God, and refers to them or God as “Angel of the Lord” numerous times. They
appear as creatures of glorious light, fire, and lightning. At times they appear with wings and other times without. According
to the Bible angels are the main players in the “game of life”, and in the situating and perfecting of
mankind’s relationship with the Eternal One. In some religions, angels belong to the class of immortal beings
known as demons, meaning that they may be either friendly or hostile to human beings. Angels are spiritual, and also
possess the ability to take on the form of humans. As we have all seen in most art, angels wear wings and halos.
Angelology came about in ancient Persia, and moved on to Judaism and Christianity. The Babylonian Talmud says that all beings
are led and protected by angels, who connect the earth to God in various ways and with their various jobs. The ancient
Hebrews used the term malakh(angel) to anyone who spread God's word in this world, including us humans.

God created angels to be His
messengers, to do His will and to assist all of humanity. Angels are spiritual and heavenly entities
from God who watch over you, protect you and guide you. This congregation includes many degrees of angels
chosen to administer help, support, and comfort. They have never lived on earth. They are not
and never have been human. Angels are unmatched, incomparable beings and, after God, have the upmost,
highest view of the overall design of earth, its bodies, and the cosmos.
